Content-wise, the test was pretty easy. Only 3-5 questions were about before the Revolutionary War, and most of them seemed to be centered around the Civil War and the politics involved around then (Calhoun, Missouri Compromise, Gag rule, nullification, etc.). Abolition and womens’ rights seemed prominent as well, but I expected that.
I breezed through the test, and had about 45 minutes to spare. I was very glad it was so easy since I had to take US II right after it.

It’s been a while, but from what I remember: REA US History I, InstantCert, various Annenburg video series (THIS one at least, I’m pretty sure.), and Wikipedia. Possibly other stuff, but I can’t remember. It wasn’t that hard, so don’t worry too much.
