Praise the Lord!!! I passed!!! I got a 65, and I’m pleased!
It was definitely harder than Western Civ. I; at one point I was certain that I’d failed. That only makes a respectable pass all the better. 🙂
My test seemed heavy on the French Revolution. There were 10-15 questions about it! I was fine with that though; that was probably my strongest area for this test. There were also quite a few demographic questions, several of which I wasn’t sure about. A few were about theories and/or ideologies (liberalism, social Darwinism, nationalism, utopian socialism, utilitarianism, etc.). I had to identify what artistic period van Gogh’s Starry Night helped influence. There were a couple of maps, and several questions on the global economy at various periods of time.
That’s all I can really remember right now. Next test: U.S. History I (and maybe II at the same time, depending on what all is involved).
Thank y’all so much for all the prayers! I can’t say how much I appreciate them.

Say Laura, I really enjoy reading your blog. Hope you do well with your skirt project. You do know you aren’t supposed to sew your fingers! I’ve done that once or twice but not to the extent of breaking a needle in my hand. I can understand why you felt faint. You are really chipping away at those college credits. By the wy, when I talked to Nancy Sat. I told her about your finger.
Love Aunt Shirley

Thank you, Aunt Shirley!
I don’t intend to ever sew my finger again, if I can help it. 🙂
I’m hoping for 60 credits by the end of the year! If we move though, that’ll kind of knock things off track for a while.
Hope y’all are doing well down there!
Love,
Laura
