That moment just before, during a calm, or just after a storm has always been a bit transfixing to me. So, when this peaceful moment of contrast that causes the world to look like a painting was pointed out to me last night as I was preparing dinner, I quickly grabbed my camera and grabbed a few shots before the rain started again. As usual, no matter how good the pictures themselves started or how well I was able to edit them, they just don’t do the moment justice. You can’t feel or smell the delicious breeze that passed over and though the corn. You can’t see the windmills steadily spinning as they catch the faster winds.
