Well, I’m not going to post any picture, and this will be short since I only have 25 minutes until my computer runs out of battery…
We were originally going to go back to Yosemite, to Mariposa Grove. However, because it was a much hotter day, we boiled our brake fluid on the way down the mountains, and, when we pulled over to let the cars pass, we lost brakes completely. Apparently that’s a common problem, and if you let it sit for a few minutes, everything back to normal. It was enough to get Daddy wanting to get to our campground for the night though, so we didn’t do anything else in Yosemite except pick up a couple bottles of brake fluid, and see a young bear run across the road.
That night we fixed country ham for dinner! It was SO good! And that was pretty much the end of the eighth day. Daddy decided to get the brakes serviced before we left the San Francisco area.

Good thing you gave those “brakes” a “break”. 😉

Oh, come now! I knew I’d do something like that! Surely I have something of an excuse this time though…? This post was thought up, written, and posted in about 5 minutes, so can’t I be allowed a few typos when dealing with bad internet? At least I got it posted, which is more than I can say for the last few days!
Yes, sir. I’ll go fix it right away. 😉

Hey, Laura! I’ve been meaning to post since day one(?), but I’m just now getting to it.
Thanks for posting all of the pictures! If you haven’t seen it already, head on over to our family’s blog to see what fellowship is like with out y’all. Very boring.
Thanks for keeping us updated! Looking forward to your return.
Love,
Camille

Hello! I stumbled across your blog somehow and saw that you also do CLEPS and live in TN. 🙂 I have been taking CLEPs through a program called CollegePlus! for about a year now, working toward a music degree. Like you, I also live in Tennessee.
Just thought that was pretty neat!
P.S. The pictures of Yosemite are beautiful! I went there a couple years ago on a family vacation.
